Categories and Questions to Consider Discussing in Caregroup
Leave and forsake. One flesh. – Are my parents or the kids the priority in my marriage?

Cleave and stick. Covenant, kinship and family. Bone and flesh. – Am I aware that I am in a covenant? Am I thinking/acting that way? If not, what should that look like?

Companionship. Friendship. Community. Neediness. – Am I alone in my marriage? If so, why? And what can I do to change that?

Serving. Loving. Preferring. – Am I moving from "me" to "us" to "you"? What does/should love and mutual submission look like in my marriage? Serving and placing my spouse's interests above mine? Is my marriage reflecting God's paradigm? Am I obeying the Lord?

Am I adequately aware of the promises of God for me and my marriage? Or, am I more aware of the weakness/lack/sin in my marriage? Am I looking at my marriage through the lens of the Cross?
